August 21, 2014 wasn't the start of any normal day. Mike had made his first plans ever! He was going to take Danaya on an adventure for her birthday, since it was the day before. He set Danaya off to be pampered with a massage and pedicure, while he was decorting the table with gifts, champange, and a ring in his pocket. Danaya came home feeling refreshed and ready for the surprise adventure she was about to encounter. As she was getting ready, she noticed Mike was acting stranger than usual. He had drank just about the whole bottle of champagne, though Danaya did have a sip or two, and was sweating. Danaya asked "Are you ok? You're not acting normal." and Mike replied "uhhh, yeah I'm being normal." Danaya continued, but not without the thought, that today might be the day. As she put on her mascara, pirate eye and all, Mike took the mascara from her hands, set it down, grabbed her hands, turned her to face him, got down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?" Danaya was for once, speechless! Her head nod said it all. Mike stood up, put the ring on Danaya's finger and they began to cry in joy. They ended up going to the city and enjoying the day together. Though plans may not have ended as they began, they ended the way they were supposed to, with their future in mind and a wedding to plan!

Ceremony will be held at Calvin Spencer Park in Marengo, IL. Ceremony will promptly start at 7pm. It will be officiated by Ryan Krause. Because the ceremony is outside, if rain, please bring an umbrella, if you wish to brave the weather. Calvin Spencer is located at the corner of Hale & Jackson Street. Use google maps, if needed. 

Reception will be held at Clasen's Tavern in Union, IL. Cocktail hour will begin at 8pm. This will be a dessert only and adult only reception. Wedding guests will have access to the inside bar and back deck. Clasen's will not be open to the public after 7pm. Because this event is outdoors, ladies may want to rethink heels. A shuttle service will be available, please see below for further information. Clasen's will close at normal bar time. Clasen's is located at 17628 Depot St, Union, IL 60180.

A block of rooms have been reserved for wedding guests. The hotel is located in Harvard, IL- about 20 minutes from reception site. For 1-2 people room rate is $65.00 + tax, and 3-4 people room rate is $75.00 + tax. Please call (815) 943-0700 by Aug 5th, 2015 to reserve a room. Mention the Mull/Cruz Wedding Party to receive the discounted rates. Please note that group discounts are not available for reservations made online or via a third party website, such as Hotels.com, Travelocity, Expedia, etc. To receive the discounted rates, guests must call the hotel directly. Shuttle service will be available for wedding guests.

Shuttle will take guests to the ceremony from the hotel and will run at 4:30pm, 5pm, 5:30pm, 6 and 6:30pm from hotel to ceremony site.

Shuttle will then take guests from ceremony to reception site. This will start at 8pm and will run back and forth between sites, with the last ride ending at Clasen's at 9pm.

Finally rides from reception to hotel will begin at 12am. The shuttle will run guests back to the hotel as needed, until the last ride at 2am. All guests must be on shuttle by 2am.
